MEN'S HEALTH · HOW TO TAKE · MALAYSIA 2026
The most common questions after buying tongkat ali: how do I take it, when, and can I take it every day? Here are the answers, based on the directions on the MFormula box.
How to take it
1–2 sachets a day, straight after meals
MFormula comes in ready-to-drink sachets of 10 g each. Tear one open and drink it straight — no need to mix it with water.
The box says to take 1–2 sachets a day after meals. If it is your first time, you can start with 1 sachet a day.
Do not take more than the amount on the box.

When to take it
After breakfast or lunch is easiest
The box says to take it after meals, so linking it to a meal makes it easy to remember. Many people take it after breakfast or lunch.
If you take 2 sachets a day, you can take 1 after breakfast and 1 after dinner.
If taking it in the evening affects your sleep, move it to the morning or midday.
Can you take it every day?
Yes — take the stated amount daily
- The directions on the box are for daily use. Taking it at the same time each day helps you remember.
- One box has 30 sachets: 30 days at 1 sachet a day, or 15 days at 2 sachets a day.
- Missed a day? Do not take a double amount — just carry on as usual the next day.
- Long-term use and high amounts have not been studied much, so do not take more than stated.
How to store it
Keep it in a cool, dry place
As the box says: keep it in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat.
